What we do

We handle tree services for homeowners across Johnson City, from routine, recurring work to the bigger one-time jobs that take a plan before we start. Either way we don't cut corners: we tell you what the work involves, what it costs, and when we'll be there, then we do exactly that.

How the job unfolds

No two jobs are identical. Depending on the job, the work includes steps like these:

• Use an aerial bucket or climbing method suited to the job, and confirm bucket-truck operators are trained on the equipment.
• Check saws, ropes, saddles, and lift gear before use, and set aside any damaged items.
• Mark an area where cut branches may fall, check that it is clear, and plan for branches that are under tension.
• When in the tree, raise or lower tools on a handline tied to the tool end.
• Snap off small dead limbs by hand while climbing, and use proper tools for larger ones.
• For a limb over one inch, cut an undercut then a top cut just beyond it, and finish at the branch collar.
